Our mentors sat these exams a few years ago, not decades ago. They remember precisely where the marks go: the keyword a science mark scheme insists on, the working that earns method marks, the structure an English examiner is scanning for.

A progress note after every lesson: what was covered, what improved, what comes next. Year 10 and Year 11 are where a small gap turns into a grade, and the point of the note is that you find out in October rather than in April.

Maths
Core and Extended. The tier a school enters your child for sets the ceiling before they sit anything, so we look at real past-paper marks first and say plainly which tier the evidence supports.
Sciences
Physics, Chemistry and Biology, taken separately or as coordinated science, including the practical paper and the alternative to practical. Which of the two a school uses changes how the last term should be spent.
English
First Language and Literature, and English as a Second Language where the school enters for it. A capital-school timetable often carries ESL alongside Arabic, and the two are marked nothing like each other.
Business & Econ
The definitions that earn marks rather than the ones that sound right, case-study technique, and the evaluation band where most students stop short.

Each sets its mocks at a different point in the year, and the revision plan follows your school's calendar.

How much does an IGCSE tutor cost in Abu Dhabi?
The high school rate applies whichever school your child is at: AED 180 per hour on Commitment, AED 200 on Flexible, both with 5% VAT included, plus AED 40 when the mentor comes to you. Everything is set out on the pricing page.

Which exam boards do you cover?
Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA. Abu Dhabi's British schools are split across all three, so the first thing we confirm is which board your child's school enters for, and every past paper after that comes from it.

Do you teach in person on Saadiyat, Al Reem and Yas Island?
Yes. Mentors travel across Saadiyat, Al Reem, Yas Island, Al Raha, Khalifa City, Al Bateen, Al Mushrif, Al Nahyan, Mussafah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City, and we teach online anywhere in the UAE. In-person lessons add AED 40 each.

Can you help before the mocks rather than the finals?
That is often the better moment. Most Abu Dhabi schools set predicted grades from the mocks, and a predicted grade follows a student into sixth-form places and early university conversations. Starting in the autumn term gives us the room to move it.

Recent graduates and university students, including from NYU Abu Dhabi, who took these same papers not long ago and did well in the subjects they teach. Matched on the board, the syllabus and which crossing sits between them and your home.
