A-Level tutors in Abu Dhabi who got the offer themselves

A-Level tutoring

A-Level is a different exam. It needs a different approach.

AS and A2 across Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA, taught by university mentors who sat these papers a few years ago and are studying on the strength of them. Online or in person across Abu Dhabi.

Why it works

What makes the difference

  • 01

    The IGCSE to A-Level jump

At IGCSE, knowing the content is usually enough. At A-Level the marks sit in the application: multi-step problems, extended writing, and data nobody has shown a student before. We teach that shift deliberately in the first few lessons, in Abu Dhabi's sixth forms as much as anywhere else, instead of hoping it arrives on its own.

  • 02

    Mentors who did this recently

Our mentors sat AS and A2 a few years ago and went straight through university applications afterwards. They remember which topics quietly cost them marks, and what a conditional offer actually demands in August.

  • 03

    Grades that carry offers

An A-Level grade is not just a grade, it is the condition on a university place. We work backwards from the offer a family is chasing, and give an honest read on where a child currently stands against it.

Subjects

Every A-Level subject that decides the offer

Mathematics and Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business, Psychology, Computer Science, English Literature, Arabic and more. With 150+ mentors across 60+ subjects, if your school teaches it, we cover it.

Maths & Further Maths

Pure, Mechanics and Statistics, plus the Further Maths modules Abu Dhabi's sixth forms actually offer. Mentors who scored highly in the subject themselves, not long ago, and remember exactly where the marks are lost.

  1. 01

    Where we teach in person

Mentors travel to homes on Saadiyat Island, Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Al Raha, Khalifa City, Al Bateen, Al Mushrif, Al Nahyan, Mussafah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City. We match on where a family lives as well as what a child studies, because an hour lost in traffic is an hour of the lesson. When the drive becomes the problem in the weeks before exams, we move the same mentor online and keep the schedule intact.

  2. 02

The schools our students come from

Brighton College Abu Dhabi in Bloom Gardens, The British School Al Khubairat in Al Mushrif and Cranleigh Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat are three of the schools our students come from. So are Repton Abu Dhabi, Nord Anglia International School on Al Reem, Yasmina British Academy in Khalifa City and Noya British School on Yas Island. Each sets its mocks at a different point in the year, and the revision plan follows a school's own calendar.

How it works

From first message to a first lesson in days

    Meet your mentor

We match a mentor who took that exact subject and scored highly in it, then arrange a first lesson, online or at your home in Abu Dhabi.

  3. 03

    Watch the progress

Lessons fit around school and mock weeks, and a parent gets a progress note after every session. If the fit isn't right, we rematch free.

FAQ

A-Level tutoring in Abu Dhabi, answered

  • 01

How much does an A-Level tutor cost in Abu Dhabi?

A-Level lessons are high-school level: AED 180 per hour at the Commitment rate, or AED 200 Flexible. Every price includes 5% VAT, and in-person lessons add AED 30 each. Full details are on our pricing page. Many families in Abu Dhabi start with one Commitment lesson a week and add extra sessions before mocks and the summer series.

  • 02

Do you cover Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA?

Yes. Our mentors teach A-Level across Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and Oxford AQA, and prepare a child on the past papers and mark scheme of their own board. The specifications differ enough that practising the wrong board's papers is genuinely wasted revision, and Abu Dhabi's sixth forms use all three.

  • 03

Can you help with AS resits and retakes?

Yes. We start from the paper a child actually sat, work out where the marks went, and build the plan around the next available series for their board. Retake students often need technique and timing more than fresh content, and that is a very fixable problem, whichever Abu Dhabi sixth form set the original paper.

  • 04

Are lessons online or in person?

Both. We teach in person across Abu Dhabi and online anywhere in the UAE. Many families combine the two: an in-person lesson each week, with extra online sessions in the weeks before the exams, especially once traffic across the island starts to bite.

  • 05

    Who are the tutors?

Top university students and recent graduates from universities including AUS, AUD, AUB, CUD and NYUAD, who sat A-Levels themselves a few years ago and scored highly in the subjects they teach. They remember exactly what an Abu Dhabi sixth form expects.

  • 06

How quickly can my child start?

Usually within days. Tell us the subject and board, and we will match a mentor and schedule the first lesson, typically the same week. If exams or a university deadline are close, say so and we will prioritise the match, wherever in Abu Dhabi a family lives.
