What makes the difference

Full mocks, real timing
Students sit complete practice tests under the ACT's own timing, section by section, so the pace of the real exam is familiar long before results day. A score from a relaxed, untimed run at home tells you little. A score from a timed mock, sat the way the real thing is sat, tells you where the minutes are actually going.

The review is the lesson
After every mock we build a list of exactly what was missed and why: a careless slip, a timing problem, or a gap in the content itself. The sessions that follow work that list, one question type at a time, rather than repeating a general syllabus the mock has already shown is not the problem.

Mentors are matched to the exam and the section a child needs most, and each one sat the ACT a few years ago and scored highly on it. A parent gets a short note after every lesson, so progress on English, Maths, Reading, Science or the optional Writing is visible, not assumed.
Subjects
Four sections, one optional, one composite score
English, Maths, Reading and Science are required; Writing is optional and scored separately. We cover all four core sections plus the essay for students who need it, built around whichever combination your child's target schools ask for.
English
Grammar, usage and the choices that make a sentence clearer: punctuation, structure and how ideas are ordered within a passage. We work through timed sections and then the specific rules a child keeps missing.
Maths
Algebra, geometry, trigonometry and the data and problem-solving questions that sit across the paper. We drill the topics behind the missed questions until the method, not just the correct answer, sticks.
Reading
Passages across several genres, with questions on what the text says directly and what it implies. Speed matters as much as comprehension, so timing is part of every practice passage we run.
Science
Reading graphs, tables and experiment summaries quickly and drawing the right conclusion under time pressure, more a test of reasoning than of science content itself. We treat it as a data-reading skill and drill it as one.

They teach online anywhere in the UAE when the drive is the harder problem. ACT preparation in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, answered

How much does ACT tutoring cost in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
ACT preparation is charged at the high-school rate: AED 180 per hour at the Commitment rate, or AED 200 Flexible, the same in both cities. Every price includes 5% VAT, and an in-person lesson adds AED 30. Full details, including the six-hour Commitment rate, are on our pricing page.

What does the ACT actually test?
Four required sections: English, Maths, Reading and Science, plus an optional Writing section that some universities ask for and others do not. The four section scores are averaged into a single composite score from 1 to 36. We build the plan around whichever combination your target schools want to see.

When should my child start ACT prep?
Most families start well ahead of the sitting they intend to take, with regular sessions each week. Starting later is still worth doing: it changes the job from building skills across all four sections to protecting the score already there and fixing the costliest habits first.

Do you guarantee a score increase?
No, and we would be careful with anyone who does. What we give you is a measured baseline from a real timed mock, and regular mocks you can see the trend in. Then an honest read on whether the target composite is realistic in the time left before the test date.

Are lessons online or in person?
Both. We teach in person across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and online anywhere in the UAE. Most ACT students settle into a mix: full mocks and review sat in person, then targeted drilling online in the final weeks before the test date.
