SAT prep in Dubai, built around the digital test
The SAT is now two hours and fourteen minutes in the Bluebook app, section-adaptive, and scored 400 to 1600. We prepare students for that test: a diagnostic first, full mocks under real timing, then a review of every question missed. Online or in person across Dubai.
The paper SAT is gone. Prep that ignores that is wasted money.
The test adapts, so the first module matters
Each section runs two modules, and performance on the first decides which second module the app serves. The higher-difficulty second module is what opens the top of the score range. We drill accuracy and pacing on module one specifically, because that is where the ceiling is set.
Full mocks, real timing, real app
Students sit complete practice tests in Bluebook, on a screen, with the built-in Desmos calculator, annotation and answer-elimination tools. A score produced on paper in a quiet room is not a prediction of anything.
The review is the lesson
After every mock we build an error log: which question type, which mistake, careless or conceptual. The following sessions target that list. And because there is no penalty for a wrong answer, we also teach when to stop, guess and move on.
Both sections, and the strategy over the top of them
Reading and Writing is 54 questions in 64 minutes. Math is 44 questions in 70 minutes, with the calculator available throughout. We cover both, plus the test-day decisions that quietly cost points.
Reading & Writing
Craft and structure, information and ideas, expression of ideas and standard English conventions — read quickly enough to finish.
Math
Algebra, advanced maths, problem solving and data analysis, geometry and trigonometry, using Desmos deliberately rather than by reflex.
Full mock tests
Complete Bluebook practice tests under exam timing, scored and then broken down question by question.
Score strategy
Pacing, when to flag and return, when to guess, and how the target total is actually built out of the two section scores.
Dubai test centres fill early. Plan around that.
Register first, revise second. It is the single most common planning mistake we see.
Register before you revise
Dubai's SAT centres are heavily oversubscribed and the best-known ones go first. Register six to ten weeks ahead of the date you want, then build the study plan around a seat you already hold. Students who leave it late end up travelling to Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, or waiting for the next sitting altogether.
Where we teach
In person across Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Al Barsha, Emirates Hills, Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JVC, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Motor City and Mirdif — and online anywhere in the UAE. Most SAT students end up with a mix: mocks and review in person, targeted drilling online in the final weeks.

Diagnostic, plan, mock, repeat
Sit a diagnostic
Before anything else, one full timed practice test. It sets the baseline and shows exactly which question types are costing the points.
Meet your mentor
We match a mentor who scored highly on this test and knows the section your child needs most, then run a first session.
Work the error log
Every session targets the list the mocks produce, with a fresh full mock at intervals so the score line is something you can see rather than guess at.
SAT preparation in Dubai, answered
How much does SAT tutoring cost in Dubai?
SAT preparation is charged at the high-school rate: AED 180 per hour at the Commitment rate, or AED 200 Flexible. Every price includes 5% VAT, and in-person lessons add AED 30 each. Full details are on our pricing page.
Is the SAT still a paper test?
No. The SAT is taken digitally in the College Board's Bluebook app. It runs two hours and fourteen minutes, has two sections — Reading and Writing, and Math — each scored 200 to 800 for a total of 400 to 1600, adapts its difficulty between modules, includes a built-in Desmos calculator, and carries no penalty for a wrong answer.
When should my child start SAT prep?
Most of the families we work with start three to four months before the date they intend to sit, at one or two sessions a week. Starting later is still worth doing — it simply changes the job from building skills to protecting the score they already have and fixing the most expensive habits.
Do you guarantee a score increase?
No, and we would be careful with anyone who does. What we do give you is a measured baseline from a real timed mock, regular mocks you can see the trend in, and an honest read on whether the target score is realistic in the time left before the test date.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. We teach in person across Dubai and online anywhere in the UAE. Because the test itself is taken on a computer, online sessions are not a compromise for SAT work — they are the closer rehearsal.
Who are the tutors?
Top university students and recent graduates from universities including AUS, AUD, AUB, CUD and NYUAD, who sat this test themselves and scored highly on it. Read more about how we select mentors.
