Mathematics
Algebra, Geometry and Pre-Calculus, at Common Core, honours or Advanced Placement level. We work through the topic your child's class is on that week, then back-fill the gap underneath it, because in maths the gap is usually what is actually costing the grade.
Physics and Chemistry
Common Core, honours and AP Physics and Chemistry, built around the labs, problem sets and unit tests. These make up the term grade rather than a single exam at the end of it. We work from your child's actual coursework and class notes.
Biology
Common Core, honours and AP Biology, from the vocabulary and diagrams that trip students up early to the longer written answers AP Biology expects later on. A mentor who has recently sat the same course knows where marks are usually lost.
English Language Arts
Reading, writing and analysis across Common Core and AP English, with essays, in-class writing and the close reading skills the GPA depends on all year. A mentor reviews drafts and reading responses on the same schedule as the class.

In person on Saadiyat Island, Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Al Raha, Khalifa City, Al Bateen, Al Mushrif, Al Nahyan, Mussafah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City, or online anywhere in the UAE. We match on where you live as well as what your child studies. Students come from schools including Brighton College, The British School Al Khubairat, Cranleigh, Repton, Nord Anglia International School, Yasmina British Academy and Noya British School, each with its own calendar that the revision plan follows.

How much does an American curriculum mentor cost?
Middle-school Common Core and honours lessons are AED 160 per hour at the Commitment rate, or AED 180 Flexible. High-school Common Core, honours and Advanced Placement lessons are AED 180 Commitment, or AED 200 Flexible. Every price includes 5% VAT, and in-person lessons in Dubai or Abu Dhabi add AED 30 each. Do you help with GPA across the whole year, or only before exams?
The whole year. American GPAs are built from tests, homework and coursework across every term. A mentor who works with your child regularly through the term catches a slipping grade early, rather than only stepping in the week before a final.

Does this pair with SAT preparation?
Yes. Many American curriculum families are also working towards the SAT, and the two overlap in maths, reading and writing. A mentor covering both keeps GPA support and SAT preparation moving together instead of pulling in different directions.

Which subjects do you cover?

Both. Lessons run online anywhere in the UAE, and in person across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with mentors travelling to homes in most residential areas of both cities. Every price is an online rate, and an in-person lesson adds AED 30.
