IGCSE tutors in Dubai who sat the exams themselves

Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA, taught by university mentors who aced IGCSE just a few years ago. Online or in person across Dubai.

Why it works

IGCSE is its own game. We play it well.

Board-specific prep

Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA ask questions differently and reward answers differently. Your child practises on their own board's past papers and is marked against its official mark schemes, not generic worksheets. Getting the board wrong is the most expensive revision mistake we see.

Recent exam experience

Our mentors sat these papers a few years ago, not decades. They remember exactly where marks are lost: the missing keyword in a science answer, the skipped working in maths that forfeits the method marks, the unstructured English response that had the right ideas in the wrong order.

Progress you can see

After every lesson you receive a progress note: what was covered, what improved and what comes next. No guessing how tutoring is going. Year 10 and Year 11 are where a small gap quietly becomes a grade, and the note is how you find out in October rather than in April.

Subjects

Every IGCSE subject, one place

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Literature, Business Studies, Economics, Computer Science, Arabic, French and more. With 150+ mentors covering 60+ subjects, if it's on the timetable, we teach it.

Maths

Core and Extended, including the tier-of-entry decision. Entering a capable student for Core caps them at a grade 5, and it is a call best made on past-paper evidence rather than nerves.

Sciences

Physics, Chemistry and Biology, separate or coordinated, covering the theory papers and the practical or alternative-to-practical paper your school enters for.

English

First Language and Literature: essay structure, unseen analysis, and the coursework portfolio where schools differ most in what they expect.

Business & Econ

Case-study technique, the definitions examiners actually reward, and the evaluation marks that separate a 7 from a 9.

Across Dubai

From Jumeirah to Mirdif, and online everywhere else

We teach in person across Dubai and online anywhere in the UAE.

Where we teach in person

Mentors travel to homes in Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Al Barsha, Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Motor City, Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JVC, Mirdif and Deira. When the drive becomes the problem — and in the weeks before the May/June series it usually does — we move the same mentor online and keep the schedule intact.

The schools our students come from

Jumeirah College, Dubai College, JESS Jumeirah, Dubai British School, Dubai English Speaking College and the GEMS Wellington schools, among others. Each sets its mocks at a different point in the year and enters for a different board, so the revision plan is built from your school's calendar and your school's specification, not a generic one.

How it works

From first message to first lesson in days

Tell us the subject

Share the subject, exam board and year group on WhatsApp or through the contact form. It takes two minutes.

Meet your mentor

We match a mentor who recently aced that exact syllabus and arrange the first lesson, online or at your home.

Watch the grade move

Lessons are scheduled around school and mock weeks, and you get a progress note after every session. If the fit isn't right, we rematch free.

FAQ

IGCSE tutoring in Dubai, answered

How much does an IGCSE tutor cost in Dubai?

IGCSE lessons are high-school level: AED 180 per hour at the Commitment rate, or AED 200 Flexible. Every price includes 5% VAT, and in-person lessons add AED 30 each. Full details are on our pricing page.

Do you cover Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA?

Yes. Mentors teach across all three boards and prepare students with the specific past papers and mark schemes of their board, because the difference between boards is where many marks are quietly lost.

Core or Extended — which should my child take?

Extended, unless there is a clear reason not to. Core caps the achievable grade at 5, which closes off most sixth-form science and maths routes. The honest way to decide is to sit one past paper of each under timed conditions and look at the marks, and that is something we do in the first few lessons rather than guess at.

Are lessons online or in person?

Both. We teach in person across Dubai and online anywhere in the UAE. Many families combine the two: in-person lessons weekly, with extra online sessions in the run-up to exams.

Who are the tutors?

Top university students and recent graduates from universities including AUS, AUD, AUB, CUD and NYUAD, who sat IGCSE themselves a few years ago and scored highly in the subjects they teach. Read more about how we select mentors.

How quickly can my child start?

Usually within days. Tell us the subject and board, and we'll match a mentor and schedule the first lesson, typically the same week. If exams are close, say so and we'll prioritise the match.

IGCSEs won't wait. Neither should you.
