In the Diploma, “maths tutor” means very little. Analysis and Approaches HL and Applications and Interpretation SL are different courses with different papers, and we match on the one your child actually takes.
Our IB maths mentors are top university students and recent graduates from universities including AUS, AUD, AUB, CUD and NYUAD, who sat the IB Diploma themselves a few years ago and scored highly in the maths course they teach. Lessons run online anywhere in the UAE or in person across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, at the high school rate on the pricing page: AED 180 per hour on Commitment, AED 200 on Flexible, VAT included at 5%.

Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches
Analysis and Approaches has its own papers and its own Internal Assessment, the mathematical exploration. We match a mentor who sat Analysis and Approaches at the level your child takes and scored highly in it, and if we do not have the right person free that week, we tell you rather than sending someone close enough.
Sessions are planned backwards from the May session: mock weeks in the winter, the exploration deadline through the autumn, and a progress note after every lesson.
Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation
Applications and Interpretation is a separate course, not a lighter Analysis and Approaches: separate papers, and its own mathematical exploration. The match is by course first, then level, and the mentor took this exact course.
Lessons run online anywhere in the UAE or in person across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and in-person lessons add AED 30 each.
SL or HL
HL is not simply more of SL. The level is the first thing we ask, along with the course, the school and the predicted grade if you have it. Two minutes on WhatsApp or the contact form.
We tutor the MYP years too, and the subject and level choices that shape the Diploma two years later, which is a decision far more families would like a second opinion on than ask for one.

The first lesson
Meet your mentor, online or at home
The first lesson runs online anywhere in the UAE or at your home in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. In Dubai: Emirates Hills, Al Barsha, Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JVC, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Motor City, Mirdif and Deira. In-person lessons add AED 30 each, same mentor, same rate.

Weeks two to four
A plan built from your school’s calendar
Almost every Dubai school sits the May session, which puts mock weeks in the winter and the exploration deadline through the autumn, so the plan starts from your school’s calendar and a progress note follows every lesson. Six hours on Commitment is a month’s block: AED 1,080, valid 30 days from purchase, VAT included. If the fit is not right, we rematch free.
